There are websites and then there are websites. But a minisite is very different from what many have traditional thought of as a website.
If you do a search on just about any keyword term you will see quite a few sites that have mega pages associated with that particular site. However, that is where the comparison should stop because of the differences in the number of pages.
A MiniSite usually has less than ten pages of actual content. Typically you would exclude pages like Contact Us, Disclaimer, and the Site Map because of the lack of content.
So having a MiniSite with six to seven pages of keyword related content is well within this description of a MiniSite.
Can it really be that simple?
Yes it can! In fact, these are also know by another by a couple of other names like Static site or a Made-For-AdSense site.
Most of the time, a Static site is just a simple site with predetermined pages of content that will (probably) not change very often. It is the very opposite of Dynamic.
Made-For-AdSense sites or MFAs gained notoriety a couple of years ago when they were used by many to corner the market in AdSense income generation.
But MiniSites themselves have become something more than just ordinary Static or MFA sites.
Finally, a MiniSite can simulate a dynamic nature in order to attract the search engine spiders. It just takes a bit of clever thinking which is easy for all of us.
