Can a dead or stagnate email list be revived? Yes it can.
If you are one of those people that state on your squeeze page that you will never abuse their email address AND you truly meant it then this article is for you.
In my case, my list sat dormant for a long time. From time to time a new subscriber would join but that was it. I did not spam my list nor did I utilize the list to help my subscribers.
So what, if anything, can I do to bring my list back to life. Or better yet, t restore my subscribers faith in me as the owner of the list.
Step 1
Make a humble and honest request by asking for forgiveness and then offer them a free gift; no strings attached. If they decide to Opt-Out then you will have your answer. I would also submit your desires to article directories as well showing what you are doing for your list.
Step 2
Rebuild or retool your website to show that you do care.
Step 3
Construct several follow-up emails for your auto-responder. make sure that the information is up-to-date and accurate. Also, make sure it serves a purpose for your subscriber. Don’t waste their time.
Step 4
Write several articles. This goes without saying. Explain your product and your intentions. Keep it honest and up front.
Step 5
Make sure your product is designed for an improved function or increasing their knowledge. It must be acceptable and not pointless. Ensure that it is desirable.
That is it. Now just reverse the order as if it were a countdown and you will be set.
