Since my last update a lot has changed. My UBot Source Code packages continue to produce consistent results which make me very happy.

But the biggest change is my UBot Training website. I added WishList Member to bring it into a true membership site.

I even went so far as making it a free site initially in-order to increase the numbers of members. Ultimately, a subscription fee will be charged but not until I hit my magic members number.

However, if you are reading this and you are not a member and you are learning UBot Studio then you will probably need to jump over to that site sooner rather than later so you can secure your free membership level.

Why would I change from free to paid?

Economics. It does cost me money to keep this site up as well as keeping my software up-to-date as well. Believe it or not source code sales are not enough to keep my little boat afloat.

Just so you know there will be sections within the site that will be Paid-Content like the source code pages. If you want access to those pages/post free then you will have to visit often to check them out. Because those pages will not stay Free and will switch to Paid after 7 days.

UBot Biz Update

Make no mistake. There is a lot involved when building an online business.

Just so you know, building a website is just one small step and to be honest it is probably the easiest step.

In my case, being in the source code business for UBot as well as tutorials and Training having to keep those pieces separate require a fair amount of time to get setup right. Now factor in customized bots and other related activities that need to be considered.

For one thing EMail Lists need to be customized so that they do not become cookie cutter. The last thing that I want is for a new comer to my lists to think that all my Lists are the exact same when i reality they are not the same.

So if you think I am ignoring Forum activities or Skype conversation you now know what I am doing.

Thanks to so many UBotters for buying my source code packages because that gives me a great sense of success and a desire to make everything that I produce better than before.

So please be patient with me and I believe you will like what is coming.

If you own a copy of UBot Studio and you still have not learned enough to build your first application then maybe I can offer some tutoring to you.

If you are wanting to jump into the advanced levels of this development platform then you should learn the basics which are the fundamental core essentials. While it appears to be drag & drop easy there are complexities that need to be explained in greater detail.

Who am I? As the website states my name is Buddy Shearer but within the UBot world I go by UBotBuddy.

I have been botting with UBot Studio since version 2 (since 2010) and now I am one of the few that use the experimental version which is a bit beyond the Development version. Quite literally, I am on the bleeding edge with UBot.

I am also one of the Moderators on the main corporate forum.

With all that said, people tend to think of me as one of the UBot Gurus. I however, think of myself as a researcher that just happens to love this product.

Many people have asked me how long did it take me to get to my level of comptency? I can sum it up with one word.

Practice. In fact, a lot of practice.

Back when I was learning there were not as many videos on the internet and it was not too much longer that version 3 hit the market so the videos really dried up quick.

Now we are on version 4.x of UBot and it just keeps getting better and better. It is also getting a a little more complex.

So I am developing a fast track for learning UBot called “Learn UBot in 24 Hours”.

In a nutshell, this video course will take you from a complete novice evel to an advanced user.

After completing the course you should be able to apply UBot technolgy to solve your problem or create your idea and bring it to fruition.

Now the honesty part. I am a straight shooter so understand what I am about to tell you.

If you consider yourself a logically thinking person then you should be able to grasp the examples.

If you are already a programmer then you know what I am speaking about.

This platform is not difficult but you should be able to apply logical thought to accomplish your goal.

IF you can take a couple of recipes and create a great dinner for guests in your home then you should be able to comprehend this subject matter.

However, if you are the kind of person to throw your hands up in quick defeat then do not waste your time here.

So if you are interested in what we are developing then I highly encourage you to stay tuned because it will be officially announced soon and signs up will be offered.

I came across a site recently that helps you, the video publisher, to increase your views to your new video or previously published videos.

You may be asking why you would want to do that.

The main reason I selected this process is that I want to get my video in front of as many people as possible. By using this process I can get it in front of several thousand quickly. Gone are the days where my video sits in my channel and no one looks at it.

Now I enjoy not only higher views but I also see increases in my Likes, Subscriptions, and Comments.

Does Squidoo still have love in the SERPs?

To answer my own curiosity I decided to perform a test.

I am going to focus on three keyword phrases. They are “stop a barking dog“, “dog aggression“, and “how to stop dog aggression“. and this post will have these links.

As of today, my Squidoo lense does not appear in the SERPs.

When I got sucked into the UBot environment I had the idea that I would be creating tons of bots and selling them or giving them away to build my lists. I never dreamed that I would love it so much that I would become part of their team.

Yep! I am the moderator in their forum. I have the tasks of making sure everyone is dealt with in a professional manner as well as helping others along the path towards becoming better UBot coders.

Does this mean that i am no longer available to code for others or even myself. No. It means I now have to select my projects more carefully because my time is consumed with making this product better in my own small way.

Yes, I am a moderator but I am also one of the Beta testers for UBot Studio v4.0.

If you don’t know about the new version coming then you had better start doing your research now. It will be a kick-butt product. I can say this, there is not another product on the planet that will be doing what it does. The methods that are being built into it are quite cool.

There will not be a web page that cannot be touched by this newest version.

FB and Bot Creation – Manipulating the Like Setting!

I few months ago I wrote a bot to do a certain task in Facebook and it does perform the task really well.

Then one day I got the wild hair to try something. When I started to put this bot out here on Facebook for people to use freely I decided to make my website available on a Fan page. That Fan page had more information on the bot but basically served as a launching pad for the app itself.

So I added a routine to my main bot to load up that Fan page as an initial step and this part of the bot only does one thing. It clicks on the �Like� button and then processing continues.

My logic is that if someone does not like it then they can quit running my bot and they can �UnLike� the Fan page.

So here is the code that accomplishes that.

Cool huh? Do you think it is deceitful? Why?

My logic is this, if you want to run my application then this automatic �Like� feature is the price. After all, you can always �UnLike� it.

Are you tired of the “Rinse and Repeat” processes that so many so-called gurus tell you to do? Now I am not big on doing mundane task but if it accomplishes my goals then so be it.

It is a necessary evil. The importance of the steps is to ingrain into our memory how important each step is and to ensure that we are really learning the proper order and flow of a set procedure

But after a while doing these “Rinse and Repeat” steps gets a bit old. In fact, a lot of the times this is what kills the enthusiasm of what should be a pleasant experience.

So here it comes.

Why not automate this steps? You know, the boring tasks that become a dreadful, painful and sometimes expensive just to get done. Dreadful because we have become lazy and we Dread doing it. Painful because we really have not learned the process so we have to keep reviewing how to do it again.

I added Expensive because sometimes that breaks us to the point of hiring someone else to do it for us. Are you really ready to do that?

I mentioned this earlier but why not automate these tasks?

If you take the time to learn the best system around it will save you Time & Money. Not to mention saving your frustration level.

Think about it. Is your Time expensive? Mine is. Do you want to keep more of your Money? I know I do.

For those that maybe tracking good sources of information about UBot I suggest you check out UBot Tutorials. I know it’s one of my sites and this is a selfish act of promotion HOWEVER I must say that I am quite excited about it.

Since being immersed in this product I have come to realized its power and effectiveness in the Internet Marketing world. Not only that but it is just a downright cool product.

Being a programmer I have never seen such a product offer the abilities that this does. I remember way back in the PC Mag days where they had an assembler tool that could do some automation with batch files almost to a professional point. The processor was pretty good for a amateur application. However, UBot is not anything like that.

As far as I can tell it is based on the .Net platform mostly VB and it is pushing the limits with some pretty advance stuff. Like being able to handle IFrames, click Flash buttons and in the near future socket programming.

So what was a Black Hatters tool in the early days is appearing to mature out of that area into a full scale development platform that will definitely give corporate IT Managers a reason to consider this for internal projects. I can think of at least two former projects that I had (when I was corporate) where I had to take data from a remote system and input into another public system. UBot would have saved me TONs of time.

What I can say now is that in the Internet Marketing world THIS is the tool that should be purchased before buying anything else. Why?

Because this will save you dollars from hiring/outsourcing simple tasks to others. And the really big reason is that you can now have a system where you can develop your own true Product.

Seriously, ebooks are so dead. Long live Free Applications.

Sorry for the rabbit path there. What I wanted to stress was the fact that I will be producing training videos in learning UBot but the biggest part of this is that I will making the source code available to subscribers absolutely free. That’s right Free UBot Source Code go check it out and subscribe!

UBot Programmer Becomes UBotBuddy

I must admit that when I first tried UBot I started to wonder if this product had any merit. Now I wonder what was I thinking then?

If you have wondered about automating mundane task then this maybe the right solution. The one thing that I learned early on with UBot is that it performs its own automation tasks through web browsers. So if you can do it in a web browser then the chances are high that it can be automated.

Think about this. If you have a large number of users then you can setup a bot to perform Account creations. Imagine having a bot to automatically read your auto-responder account and then create Blog and Forum accounts. All from one sign up. You just saved yourself and your user time.

If you are in the business of creating accounts where you need to click activation emails then search no more. UBot can do it.

Now that is the tip of the iceberg. There are other possibilities like Content Scraping, Spinning, and Posting. Not to mention there are advance capabilities that handle Captcha and Proxy switching.

Now before you think this is a Black Hat tool do not write it off just yet. I have written a program that allows me to play Zenga’s Farmville on Facebook more efficiently. Just so I can play a bit longer and gain more stuff. Check out my friend Morgan Shearer the bot he wrote with my help is a nice edition.

UBot is a game changer at least for me it is.
